If Leeds don’t go up this season it’s very difficult to see them going up again in the foreseeable future.

We should be at least competing in every game. We have no divine right to win any game, but with th resources we have at hand we should minimum compete in every single game. The rest is down to the coaches and players to turn competing into winning.

In any case, to get that kind of positive consistency we would need a new DoR basically. Without that, each coach coming in will change systems and philosophies. GH in charge has done many things, but it hasn't provided any systematic success for a very long time - this is the truth.

It's not a hopeless position but - the kind of systemic club approaches you're talking about take years to embed fully.

To be fair the club is trying to back youth. We have a better potential set of young backs as a group than I can remember if they progress - Edgell, Lumb, Smith, Simpson, McCormack x 2, Sinfield. Not sure about the forwards so much, but its clear that the aim is to bring as many of these lads through as possible. Asiata apart, wouldn't the coach want his own players rather than an aging bunch of players ?

He his holding out for a better contract and who can blame him. Degsy needs to get his cheque book out and give Amone what he is worth.

Anyone got the full list on who is contracted for next year ?
