Original Jurassic Park Cast Reunites On Jurassic World Set To Encourage Voting
Cast members of the original Jurassic Park film have gathered together on the set of Jurassic World: Dominion to encourage Americans to vote. The upcoming U.S. election is a big issue for many, with numerous hot-button issues at stake. Because of this, there has been a massive push as of late to get citizens of all political affiliations to register to vote in the November presidential race.
With today being National Voter Registration Day in America, Laura Dern took some time out with two of her Jurassic Park co-stars – Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum to encourage Americans to register and vote in the upcoming presidential election. Dern posted a photo on her Instagram account of her, Neil, and Goldblum wearing their best “Vote” gear on the set of the upcoming Jurassic: World Domination. Check out the photo below:
Dominion marks the first time in the entire six-film Jurassic franchise that Dern, Neill, and Goldblum have been reunited. Fans of the original Jurassic Park will recall that all three actors played the first group to visit the doomed park, thanks to the scientific backgrounds of their characters. Unfortunately, the journey into Jurassic life proved a deadly and disastrous one, with the trio barely managing to escape alive.
So far, there isn’t much to go on in terms of exactly what Ellie Satler (Dern), Ian Malcolm (Goldblum), and Alan Grant (Neill) will be tasked with doing in Dominion. What is known is that the roles will reportedly be more than just cameos to satisfy the franchise’s devoted fanbase.
In the meantime, hopefully, Dern, Neill, and Goldblum’s appeal to American citizens to vote will achieve the intended result. The trio has so far appeared to be having a blast together on the set of Dominion, but apparently, it was time to take a small break for something a little more important than filmmaking.
