It's not surprising that when actors work on movie sets for extended periods of time, they grow close to one another. And when romance is involved on screen, sometimes that translates off screen as well— though it doesn't only happen in romantic films.
In the best case scenarios, it involves two single individuals who become romantically linked. But that isn't always the case. Sometimes, romance brews while one or both parties are already in relationships with other people. There have been many times when these budding romances have led to marriage, some of which have stood the test of time while others that have since ended.
10 Channing Tatum And Jenna Dewan (Step Up)
Now a superstar thanks to roles in films like Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street, Channing Tatum was most recently in a relationship with English singer Jessie J, though it's unclear if that relationship is still intact. But before that, he was married to actor Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares a daughter.
The pair met on the set of the film Step Up in 2006, which was all about dancers, a field with which both actors have experience. Three years later, they got married. The marriage lasted nine years, but they split in 2018.
9 Nicole Kidman And Tom Cruise (Days of Thunder)
This pair met while filming Days of Thunder way back in 1989 and went on to adopt two children, daughter Isabella and son Connor. Both also became massive Hollywood A-listers, Kidman starring in a variety of films and TV series and Cruise becoming one of the biggest celebrities of the '90s.
The marriage lasted for many years and for a long time, they were one of Hollywood's most influential power couples. But in 2001, they separated. Kidman went on to date several musicians before finally marrying country star Keith Urban in 2006, who she remains with to this day. Cruise, meanwhile, met actress Katie Homes whom he later married and had his first biological child with.

When Craig and Weisz worked together on the set of the film Dream House, a love blossomed. They didn't actually meet on set, though– they were friends for many years prior. But something clicked and they decided to make things romantic. They married fairly quickly thereafter in a small ceremony.
Both each have a child from a previous relationship and in 2018, had their first child together. Just prior to them getting together, Weisz had been dating filmmaker and producer Darren Aronofsky while Craig was engaged to film producer Satsuki Mitchell.
7 Warren Beatty And Annette Bening (Bugsy)
Acclaimed actor Warren Beatty was a known ladies' man in his youth. He dated everyone from Madonna to Diane Keaton to Julie Christie. Singer Carly Simon even confirmed that a verse in her iconic song, "You're So Vain," was written about Beatty. But when he met Bening as they prepared together for their roles in Bugsy, it seems Beatty found his soulmate, despite their 20-year age difference.
They married in 1992 and the pair have four children together. They are still seemingly very much in love almost 30 years later.

Burton was married five times and Taylor eight, counting that they got married to each other twice. Their love story is often considered that one that began the concept of fan curiosity into the love lives of their favorite movie stars.
While filming Cleopatra together in Italy, Taylor and Burton began a torrid affair, seeing as they were both married to other people at the time. Paparazzi managed to get a photo of them on a yacht and that moment ushered in an entirely new era where celebrities were no longer able to keep their personal lives private. They eventually divorced in 1974, only to remarry a year later— and divorce again a year after that.

It was one of the most publicized relationships at the time when Jolie and Pitt reportedly took a liking to one another while filming this movie. It was scandalous because Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time. Jolie has maintained that while she fell in love with Pitt while filming the movie, they did not cheat— Pitt might have still been legally married to Aniston, but the pair had definitively split by the time Jolie and Pitt became officially involved, according to Jolie.
That said, they definitely moved quickly as, only a year later, Jolie was pregnant with his child. They went on to have a 12-year relationship where they were considered one of the primary Hollywood power couples and given the nickname "Brangelina." Together, they had six children in total, three of whom were adopted. They officially wed in 2014, but separated two years later.
4 Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner (Daredevil)
Jennifer Lopez says it was the media attention surrounding her relationship with Ben Affleck that played the biggest part in the collapse of their romance. But then Affleck became "Bennifer" with another Jennifer: Jennifer Garner.
The pair technically first met on the set of Pearl Harbor in 2001, but it was really while working together in Daredevil that they struck up a romance. They married a few years later and had three children together. However, they separated in 2015 and divorced in 2017, something Affleck would later call "the biggest regret of [his] life."

While filming this movie in 2014, the pair fell in love, ironically after playing a married couple in the movie. They didn't show their romance publicly, however, until 2016 once the movie was officially out.
The Swedish actress, who has an Academy Award to her name for her role in The Danish Girl, wed the Irish-German actor and race car driver in 2017. They remain married and currently live together in Portugal.

It was young love at its best. The pair, Cyrus only 17-years-old and Hemsworth 19, met on the set The Last Song in 2009 and it seemed to be fate. They dated for quite some time before breaking up, but then found their way to one another once again. Cyrus even penned a song about their reconciliation.
But it was not to be in the end, and while they did officially get married in 2018, they split less than a year later.

While filming Evening in 2006, the veteran actors apparently had chemistry off screen. They tied the knot in 2009 and three years later, had a child together. In 2018, they had their second child.
While it's Dancy's first high-profile relationship, Danes was previously involved with a somewhat scandalous celebrity coupling. She dated Billy Crudup in 2003, and their romance reportedly led to his break-up with Mary-Louise Parker, who was pregnant with his child at the time.
