Bachelor: Details & Mug Shot Of 'Queen' Victoria Larson's 2012 Arrest
Victoria Larson is the self-proclaimed queen of this year's The Bachelor season, and she has some skeletons in her closet. The Bachelor villain was arrested in 2012.
On The Bachelor, Victoria has been perceived as trouble right from the beginning. She entered the show in a tiara, on a throne, while being carried by several men. Fans thought Larson appeared very drunk throughout the first night of the show, as she angered the other women by trying to give them advice... and stealing time with Matt James twice. Things didn't improve in the next episode, as she picked a fight with Marylynn Sienna and further ostracized herself from the rest of the house. Larson's fate on The Bachelor remains is as yet unknown, but in the eyes of fans, she has solidified her place as one of the most disliked women in the cast.
As reported by Page Six, it's been revealed that Victoria was arrested for shoplifting in 2012 in Tallahassee, Florida. Victoria attempted to steal over $250 worth of merchandise from a Publix grocery store, at the self-checkout line. A security guard spotted her paying only for items in her cart and not for other products hidden in a plastic bag. When questioned, she tried to deny her actions but admitted to the theft when she realized it had been caught on camera. Victoria tried to steal more than 25 items, and many of them were makeup products.
Victoria was taken to Leon County jail for two days. The charge was petit theft and her bond was set at $500. After accepting a plea deal, she spent six months on probation, paid back several hundreds of dollars in fees, and attended theft awareness classes. In her mug shot, she's seen with blond hair, a departure from the brunette locks she has on The Bachelor.
Before news of the arrest broke, former contestant Demi Burnett made a video explaining why Victoria is a terrible Bachelor villain. "To be a good villain, people have to love to hate you," she said, "We don't love talking bad about Victoria, it's just annoying." See castmate Demi "dethrone" the queen in the juicy clip below:
Victoria's arrest is not the only controversial fact to come out about her since she's been on the show. She was also accused of deleting an Instagram post that showed a Trump flag in the background. Victoria Larson defended the post, saying that the flag was at a rental house she was staying in and that she supports Black Lives Matter. Victoria's gift for starting drama was bound to make her a controversial contestant either way.
How will Bachelor Nation react to this news? It's doubtful that many The Bachelor fans will be surprised that Victoria has a past.
