How to Solve Goffin’s Door Attribute Altar Puzzle in D&D: Dark Alliance
Attribute points are where it's at in Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance when it comes to getting stronger. The more points players can receive, the more specialized their characters become. Whether it's a decked-out Assassin with a crazy amount of Dexterity, or a Magician with high Intelligence numbers, getting a great build needs Attribute points. There are a few Attribute Points to get at Goffin's Door, and here's an easy one to get powered up quickly.
Wizards of the Coast, best known for Magic: The Gathering, have finally brought Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance to the forefront for fans of The Forgotten Realms novel series. Playing with characters near and dear to readers' hearts, such as Drizzt Do'Urden, is a treat rarely seen in Forgotten Realms games. Even Wulfgar and Bruenor Battlehammer are a part of the adventure to make Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance a very straightforward mirror of the books. To go even more into the details, readers of The Crystal Shard will feel right at home with this game.
From the entrance to the room where the Altar is, immediately ahead, on the floor, are four floor buttons with white shapes around them. Past those buttons is an Altar covered in a purple barrier. The challenge in this room is to push the correct buttons to drop the barrier and get the attribute point along with a couple of chests full of goodies. White shapes will have twins found around the room that identify which floor buttons to push. Find the twin shapes and pus the identical button on the ground.
From the entrance, head right, and there will be a white circle with a multi-point star on the wall at the ground level on the same wall as the entrance. From there, take a few steps towards the right wall with red fabric hanging over a rocky edge. From the red fabric, turn approximately 90 degrees and look up towards a pillar to the right of the red banner with the white skull. Another shape, a square within a square, in white, is just past the pillar. After observing the second white shape, head to the left side of the room to find another one in almost the exact location as the second one. It will be to the left of the banner instead of the right side. It should be visible if looking up while going to the left side of the room above the barrier. It will look like a square outside of a square, making it an 8-point star.
The final one is on the far left side of the room, which has a small area all to its own. Once inside this small area, do a 180-degree turn, and the white circle is at floor level. The shape will have three white circles and a square in the middle. Head back to the room entrance, overlooking the buttons, and the ones to push are the back left, front left, far right, and finally back right buttons. At this point, the barrier drops, and the chest and attribute point is available for the taking.
Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
