Big Brother: Best Returning Houseguests Of All Time | Screen Rant
Returning players aren't always welcomed during a new season of Big Brother, but the fans loved watching some of their favorite houseguests getting back on the show to try again. The first season to ever feature returning contestants was Big Brother 7: All-Stars, which cast a full house of 14 players who had competed in the first six seasons of the show. Then, it wasn't until BB11 that a single veteran houseguest (Jessie Godderz) was able to go back into a house full of newbies.
Over the years, however, bringing back former cast members became extremely common on Big Brother. Some of those returning players even got to win the show during their second attempt, making a case that producers made the right call to bring them back. With that said, the fans don't always care about returning houseguests that did manage to win the show. In fact, there are two-time, three-time, and even four-time Big Brother players that were able to keep the viewers thoroughly entertained at all times, regardless of whether or not they won.
There's no way around it: Big Brother 2 winner Dr. Will Kirby is one of the most entertaining houseguests in the history of the series, and his star power didn't waver even 20 years later. Bringing back Will as a competitor on Big Brother 7: All-Stars was a treat to the fans. And over the years, the show has always found a way to feature Dr. Will in the newer seasons. Starting on Big Brother 15, Will Kirby became the official host of the Jury Roundtable of each new season. He wasn't able to host the BB22 Jury Roundtable due to COVID-19 restrictions, but he still appeared on the show as a "neighbor." Will is always a great time on BB!
Janelle Pierzina is one of only two four-time Big Brother players (along with Daniele Donato Briones). After finishing in third place on BB6, Janelle was brought back for BB7 a.k.a. All-Stars. She once again finished up in third place, which felt like an unbelievable achievement at the time. As the years went by, Janelle came back to play Big Brother 14 as a coach, but she was then turned into a regular houseguest. Then, in 2020, Janelle got to compete fourth time as a cast member on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. For good reason, many fans call Janelle the "Queen of Big Brother." She is always an amazing player for the fans to keep up with, even if the other houseguests do their best to take her out as quickly as possible.
After winning Big Brother 10, Dan Gheesling managed to have a truly incredible second run on Big Brother 14. Dan got to the finale during both seasons, and some viewers thought that he made a case for himself in season 14 to become a two-time BB winner. Across the board, most fans can agree on how amazing and entertaining Dan is as a Big Brother player. As if he wasn't already an iconic winner of the show, he managed to give us the "Dan's Funeral" scene on BB14, solidifying his status as a true legend.
Big Brother 23 airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
