Forza Horizon 5: How To Paint Vehicle Brakes (New Feature)
The ability to change the paint job of brake calipers in Forza Horizon 5 is a new feature added to vehicle customization that promotes individuality. This new feature strengthens the series' tradition of giving players complete control over their vehicles' appearances. Many of which fans choose to design vehicles that reflect the vehicle's performance or represent vehicles of popular icons, shows, or other video games. Customizing brake calipers is a feature available for every car in Forza Horizon 5.
As most cars from previous Forza games have returned in Forza Horizon 5, the new custom brake caliper feature allows returning players to further detail their favorite cars from games past. The paint job that can be applied to a vehicle's brakes is separate from the rest of the wheel, and it is more of a fine-tuning feature than anything. Additionally, players are able to customize their vehicles' brake calipers with an array of special paint jobs like a semi-gloss or desert camo instead of a more traditional color configuration.
This custom brake caliper paint job feature is also great for those who would rather drive from place to place instead of fast travel in Forza Horizon 5. To customize the brake calipers on any vehicle, first get in the car that will receive the custom paint job. Head to the garage tab, then design and paint, and finally to paint car. The second option from the far right side of the paint menu is the option to paint brakes. From this menu, solid paints and specialized paint options are available.
The ability to paint vehicle brakes in Forza Horizon 5 is one of the many customization options within the game, and it doesn't cost any credits to change. Additionally, players are able to fine-tune colors to their desire, which is one of the best features of Forza Horizon 5's livery editor. Once a vehicle has been customized players can save and upload their vehicle liveries as templates for others to use online. Vehicle customization can take place as soon as the first races to run in Forza Horizon 5 are available.
Custom player-made liveries are available for any vehicle in Forza Horizon 5, and some of the vehicles available have had some fantastic paint jobs finished. In particular, there are a few Joker and Squid Games themes for vehicles that are player-made liveries that include detailed touches, like paint jobs to the brakes and added decals.
