Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Has Her Whole Family Laughing in Silly & Sweet New Video
No matter what kind of day you’re having, kids can always be counted on for one thing: making us laugh. It’s their superpower! Kids are hilarious, from the silly things they do as babies to the outrageous things they say as toddlers and the quips they make as they grow up. I’ve never laughed so much as I have since becoming a mom — I’m convinced its nature’s way of making the tough load of parenting more enjoyable. Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior, 4, clearly inherited a funny bone, because she has her whole family laughing in a sweet and silly new video.
“27 today✨ The greatest gift of all is this love,” Bindi captioned a new video on Instagram in honor of her birthday. In the clip, Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell holds up his wife in his arms in front of a gorgeous sunset scene in their home at Australia Zoo. But the scenery doesn’t compare to the couple’s glowing faces as their daughter makes them laugh. Because Grace is in the picture too: her mom is holding Grace in her arms, while Powell holds them both in his.
Everyone is cracking up as Grace leans down to hang upside down in Bindi’s arms like a little monkey. “What is happening?” Bindi’s brother Robert Irwin says from behind the camera as he films the silliness in front of him. Bindi and Powell laugh as Grace swings down. She shows off her gap-toothed smile upside down, saying what sounds like: “This is so fun.” She seems so happy in her parent’s arms, and we can’t help but smile when we see it too.
Bindi’s mom (and Grace’s “Bunny”) Terri Irwin commented, “Wishing you endless love and laughter always!” Aww!
Powell shared his own photo of the special moment, this time with just Bindi in his arms. “Happy birthday, @bindisueirwin ❤️” he wrote. “I will be forever grateful to do life with you. In addition to taking care of us, you also make me and Grace smile every single day. Thank you for being so wonderful. You’re the light of my life. I love you.”
Bindi responded, “I love you with all my heart. Thank you for being my best friend. ❤️” This love is so beautiful, we can’t get enough!
Robert and Terri shared childhood photos of Bindi to mark the special occasion, including one where Bindi is showing her baby brother a snake. “Happy birthday to the best sister ever, @bindisueirwin ????” the wildlife photographer captioned a post.
Bindi responded, “This made me so happy. Thank you for being such an incredible brother. I won the sibling lottery.”
“So glad you are both best buddies!” Terri chimed in.
Terri’s post included snaps of Bindi throughout the years, including several with her dad, the late Steve Irwin. She was such a beautiful baby, and Grace looks so much like her.
“Happy birthday sweet Bindi,” Terri wrote in the caption. “You have been a delight every day since the moment you were born. You are fabulously fierce, while remaining incredibly kind. You’re an awesome daughter and wonderful mum. And with every birthday I love you even more. ❤️”
“Thank you so so much. I am incredibly lucky to be your daughter and I love you with all my heart. ❤️” Bindi replied.
Bindi responded to the influx of birthday messages with a photo of Grace running on a hill in between her parents on her Instagram story. “Thank you for the kindest birthday wishes. Sending my love,” she wrote.
