Ellie Goulding’s Candid Breastfeeding Photo Shows Her Sweet Bond With Newborn Daughter Iris
Ellie Goulding just uploaded a photo that is giving fans baby fever!
In case you missed it, Goulding shared a photo on her Instagram stories, and it’s a very special one because it’s the first of her daughter, Iris. She shared the photo, obtained by People, which shows her wearing black shades and a gray bra, chilling in bed while breastfeeding her newborn daughter.
Not only do we love the rare pics of her baby girl, but we always love seeing moms embrace breastfeeding, despite the annoying stigmas around it.
For those who don’t know, the Fitter, Calmer, Stronger author has two children. Now, she started dating Caspar Jopling in 2017, eventually tying the knot in 2019. Then, in April 2021, they welcomed their son Arthur. However, they separated in 2024 (and he has since been with actress Olivia Wilde).
Soon after their separation, she began dating actor Beau Minniear, who appeared in the music video for “Destiny” (2025). In Dec 2025, she revealed that she was expecting, and on March 6, 2026, they welcomed their daughter Iris Edaline.
In a previous interview with People a few years back, the Halycon singer talked about how her son Arthur truly “zaps” away her anxiety.
“At times, it was debilitating… Being around Arthur automatically zaps [my anxiety] away, and I feel like it’s my body trying to mess with me because it’s saying, ‘We want you to be with Arthur all the time,’ biologically,” she said while explaining the work/life balance as a new mom. “I’ve had no choice but to put myself and being a mother first, and then everything else I will do to the best of my ability.”
