It sounds like you paid via debit card - is that correct?
If not and you paid by credit card, then you should contact your card provider, tell them why you feel you were duped and tell them you would like to do a chargeback. 9 times out of 10 they will do this without question and they will punish the vendor with extra charges for having to reverse the sale. If a vendor has chargebacks too regularly they can lose the ability to take orders with that card company which will hurt them badly.
Unfortunately with a debit card it's not the same type of system. If you have a credit card, it's safer to make online purchases with that rather than a debit card because of the aggressive chargeback system which protects the buyer.
Edit - their FAQs seem to don't deal with this handling fee issue and the terms and conditions page doesn't contain the word handling. They've done a good job of making sure that people are surprised when they get whacked for that extortionate handling fee. After a quick look, it would seem that if it's in there, it's buried deep.
Second edit - is it fanpass.co.uk? I just clicked on a ticket as if I was going to buy one and it clearly says on that page 'no hidden fees - all prices are final'.
