Salt Overdose (18 replies)
I only ask because i made some chicken on the weekend, i brined it before i cooked it to break down the fibre so it is softer and the brine called for 60g of salt in water and to leave it to stand for a few hours. I forgot about the chicken and left it for 48 hours and when i came back to it, all the salt water had been absorbed by the 2 chicken breasts.
I ate them today and i feel really wierd, dehydrated and my muscles are aching and my head hurts.
I just want to know am i going to die of salt overdose, or should i go hospital or just have some water and go bed safely tonight.
