Perhaps, maybe, the advantage for us in recruiting loan players like Gallagher is that it is clear that if they have any talent they will be in the team. Redknapp's fiery rant on Friday confirmed that a lot of the players we have are not good enough. Jenkinson, Bramall and, hopefully, Gallagher know they will play if they play well.
At Villa, for example, they may just be on the bench competing with Kodjia for a place in the team.
