I seem to remember that the murder took place around back lanes near Bromsgrove and that they were going to (or returning from) the Mallbrook pub, near Catshill?
So, to attempt to answer your question, it may be likely that she came from that area? Being not far from Halesowen to the West, this may account for a hint of Black Country? The Bromsgrove accent is distinct from Brummy (or used to be anyhow).
