Re: An occasion to take the silver lining
This thread is far more realistic H. Ndoye had his best game for us IMO, even producing some nice little touches and flicks at times. Plenty of the players did well, but night ruined by the two injuries

Sort it the fvuk out
Good post, didn't see any of it as I was at football training but that's massively encouraging.
Seems sensible.
On another thread one kid gave N'Doye a 4, this all seems much more sensible.

we never played that well under Zola, not once.

The injury to Jota in particular is a huge concern. He clearly has the keys to unlock many a defence - an ability we're hardly flush with - so for him to be on the sidelines would (excuse the pun) hamstring our progress. Let's just hope it isn't as bad as initially feared.
What do you mean? Do more than look into it? You want then to shoot Che? Like a knackered race 'oss? :D
Adams has done his hamstring twice now recently hasn't he ? If so I'd say they need to do more than look into it as something sin't right.
Both failed to get work permits?
Well like Dbb says, the coaching staff I'm sure will be looking into this, I know other clubs have players out with hammys, but it is surely excessive at Blues.
It was 1-2. Brighton scored the winner in the last minute.
Its made a comeback. Can we not just knock it.
Get behind Harry and the lads
Blues suffered a second successive away defeat - but it was far from deserved. After conceding a 17th minute goal to Samuel Saiz they went on to dominate high-flying Leeds, who just about managed to hold out in the face of a constant stream of Blues attacks and approach play.Leeds put seal on their

Kevin Bond has them doing shuttle runs on boggy turf
I hope the club are seriously having an inquest into it to root out the problem and we don't just carry on oblivious
Down to training/fitness or just damn bad luck??
There's a time and a place for taking the silver lining from a defeat. Going all Pollyanna and doing so every game - such as the Burton defeat - is when people roll their eyes with dismay. But I feel the lads deserve credit tonight and feel surprisingly optimistic after seeing that performance.
We're a team that's clealrly still getting to know each other and for the first 20 minutes looked just that - in need of 'gelling'. Couple that with a naturally lower confidence from several lacklustre... Читать дальше...
Night completely ruined by the two injuries.
One step forwards two steps back, so frustrating.
To be fair you're always moaning about something.

And we were never overrun in midfield tonight.
it's just stupid to expect literally an entire new team to click straight away
It will come, be patient FF
Yes by and large we were poor but the first 70 minutes home v Leeds was as good as we have played for a long time. Home v Brighton should have won. Away at Wolves was fine.
Many games were tosh Burton at home being the worst. Читать дальше...
All comes back to pre season IMO and/ or players still not match fit enough
