Just made me look back on Francis’ time with blues and it’s a shame he just could never get us over the final hurdle, despite having money to spend he did a good job. I’d kill for a repeat of 3 play off finishes nowadays although the heartache is hard to take.

Got Blues promoted and won the FA cup, League Cup and Europa League in my first couple of seasons. Finishing mid table. Then the big clubs started nicking most of my players and the laptop packed in.

Blyth Spartans on FM12. Got them from the BSN to the Championship in about eight seasons, then my laptop went kaput and the game was lost forever. Went into a mini period of mourning when that happened.
FM probably was the reason my degree went from a First to a Desmond. I wonder how many divorces it has caused down the years.
