My take on the accents is Birmingham was the industrial center of the world, lots of jobs , lots of blokes killed in WW1 so "migrant" workers from Ireland , Liverpool , Manchester etc would have descended on Brum for work . How many living in Brum now can trace their great grandparents back to other big cities. My wife's grandparents were from Manchester & lived in Yardley , her Dad's great grandparents were from Scotland , my Dad was from Gillingham ( different generation but fair enough comparison in my opinion ). How has everyone got on today?
My U14's have got back to winning ways at home in CWFYL Div1. 7v1 win after going 1v0 down after 10 seconds, and we kicked off!!
Fortunately we dominated after that point and probably should have been 5 or 6 up at half time but went in 1v1 after missing a boat load of chances. Came out second half and went 2v1 up within a minute of the restart and never looked back. Had a couple of goals disallowed for offside and were very clinical.

My nephew got a hat trick for his U16 team last Sunday. Managed to go one better this week. 6-1 win 3 wins out of 3. Good start to the season.
Never watched it. Started to. What the feck is that accent for the main cast? Scouse? Belfast? And why do all the extras have different accents from each other? I wish I'd recorded my old Grandad. Proper Brummie. Sort of a no nonsense 'orspickle' 'ossroad' thing. Not the current sing song accent where the last syllable is drawn out slow-lee... and ends on a "quesh-chunn?" When did that take over (ohw-ver)?
Trying to set up Apple I.d so I can get on apple store but it keeps telling me it cant be verified at moment, I've tried everything but no good. Any ideas. Cheers
Well that was effing fascinating
eff that. All the MBA buzz words they use would be tooooooo much

Anyone remember what it was like in there?
Always talking about the place with my missus when we walk past it, seems a shame it’s closed, although I do know of the fatal incident that happened there.
If it was re-opened, would folk drink in there?
Walked past the forge yesterday and it said it was some B&B or similar. Don't know if it's even open though. I wonder where the 'crowd' that drank in there resided?

As I said largely predictable. 39 predictions there, over 30 would be 'largely' but I reckon I will probably get 35. For the record I would have said Japan today. You can take a look how I got on in a few weeks. To be fair I know very little about the Namibia, Uruguay and Canada capabilities.
Pool D: Australia v Fiji (Sapporo), 05:45 Australia ✅
Pool C: France v Argentina (Tokyo), 08:15 Argentina (one of the harder)❌ close though
Pool B: New Zealand v South Africa (Yokohama)... Читать дальше...
Lincoln City have fallen apart and Huddersfield are even worse yet some Blues think the Cowley's could do a job in the Championship of a few clips on Quest.
Really liked it 4.3 on the noodleometer.
Soundtrack was brilliant but I do not know where to get it.
Google comes up with Asher as it was called in the states.
Anyone know where I could obtain this?
Many thanks in advance.
Ron Pearlman and Famke are in it.
First time SHA forum messager. I am a brummie and massive Blues fan that lives just outside Derby. For those looking for a drink and a bite to eat next Saturday. There is an event on called the Bustler market that is held in venue less than 5 minutes from the train station. There will be various Street food sellers, offering fantastic grub. There is a good bar and they play music. It is very relaxed a great for families and friends to enjoy. It is a pound to get in. Website address bustlermarket.co.uk... Читать дальше...
Was at a non league club up here in Yorkshire yesterday and browsed through their club shop.
They had a huge selection of old programmes - many going back to the 60s.
Amongst them were a few 'Blues News' issues from the early and late 1960s.
Didn't have time to list them all, but if anyone is interested, they included matches vs Bury, Blackpool (inc Jimmy Armfield) and Fulham (with a half-back line (that's midfield to you young 'uns) that featured Alan Mullery and Bobby Robson. Читать дальше...

Old fella had a heart attack in front of us today and at one point died in front of me.
Thank god for the medics giving him CPR as they got him back after a couple of minutes but the result paled into insignificance after that for me.
Fingers crossed he's ok tonight.
Sorry if my views get to ya but everyone has an opinion
It is you that doesn't get that, nobody else took issue with you saying we would win until you went on the offensive about their opinion (that turned out to be correct).

Do you sit in the main stand?
I do. Fantastic view.
Who is it going to be then? I'll go for Javi Gracia.

The board want a certain style of football and imo Peps football has been even worse than Monks.

Robert Hopkins
He was a complete chunt last season aswell
