Cheltenham v Man City (48 replies)
Just watching this cup tie. Nearly 40 mins gone - 0 - 0.
Organised and serious application by Cheltenham. Blues get the video for a training resource?!

I think attitudes in general have changed because of the distance of World War 2. A few years ago BBC Parliament re-ran the 1979 election night coverage and it was fascinating to see the cross party respect; there were many Tories lamenting that Shirley Williams was losing her seat even though it was to the Tories.
But they were mostly men in their sixties. So most would have played some part in the war. They would have fought side by side and known... Читать дальше...
Just scored a 40 yarder for Larne in the Sky game.

Who is our most successful manager in your opinion?
I’m a millennial so for me Steve Bruce and Mcleish are who I associate with success, was wondering if any older blue noses feel the same or have other opinions, my Birmingham history isn’t the greatest I’ll admit, but my uncle always says there’s not much to know ????.
I’ve been given minor history lessons from family members and Arthur Turner was quite successful in the 50’s I believe? And I’m aware Trevor Francis floated... Читать дальше...
We only have one stand named after a former manager who was also England's goalkeeper whilst playing for Blues.

Derby winning
We are in a relegation battle because our home form is so pathetic, the players need to take full responsibility. The ability in our squad should have us comfortably mid table. Karankas continual tinkering is largely the cause but the players need to do much better. I hope Harper makes a difference and we also need to replace Che and Isaac Vassell, an up and coming energetic forward will be ideal, if only we hadn't furloughed our scouts.

He’s got attributes to be a good forward/winger. He’s not near the complete player yet. Hopefully we won’t let him go before he can establish himself. He needs a run of games. But I’m not convinced he’ll get that unless Sanchez or Bela pick up a injury.
He’ll be good in league one next season.
????
Well said sir
Phenomenal effort and figures from him, 27 overs 6 wickets for 38 runs so far.
Cementing himself as England’s best ever bowler, hell of an act to follow in the future, still doing it at 37/38!
Breaks my heart, I went to every game in the cup other than the final as a friend of mine couldn’t get me a ticket????
I'd never soon this before. So many things I'd forgotten about the earlier stages of the cup run.
The January transfer window is open and Birmingham City are looking to overhaul Aitor Karanka's squad - and a former Blues manager has his eyes on this player

It’s a brain dead decision for me. We are deep in a relegation battle and we are letting a first team starter leave basically for nothing. It makes the team weaker and it makes virtually no difference to the finances

Brilliant They should repaint that. Just like the Baggies fans do with "Astle is the King" on that bridge at Tipton or where ever it is
