Buildings like the old Victorian central library, Mason's College, and hundreds of other buildings of local and international architectural importance were simply torn down and replaced with (mainly) faceless, bland garbage.

Wanted to bump up the ‘TV recommendations’ thread from a week or so back, but that’s now been closed.
Been watching this US mini-series over the last few days. Haven’t quite finished yet (episode 8 of 10 ) but really enjoying it.
Hasn’t been released in the U.K. yet, and the reviews are mediocre tbh, but I think it’s definitely one to watch out for - starts on Sky Atlantic/ Now TV on 2nd March, starring Bryan Cranston and Michael Stuhlbarg.
