Are we still singing the garden shed song at away games, or just at home games for now?
Still a fair bit of work to do tomorrow but they've got a great chance now
My recollections of this process were given to me by my late uncle who drove me to the Blues in Feb/March 1973. We entered Bordesley/Small Heath via Golden Hillock RD and then turned left into Bolton Rd.As a 9 year old I was shocked by what I saw. But as we approached to Blues ground it got worse as we drove into what I now know to have been Bordesley Green Avenue and its junction with Arthur St,Here three story houses with a long curved terrace backed right onto the street, which was covered in... The 33-year-old is a self-confessed Blues fan, but that's not the only thing that endears him to fans on the blue half of Birmingham

No shame at all, but at 1-0 in front of a home crowd, and with them not laying a glove on us for an hour, we should have won the game. We were completely passive for the last 60 minutes.
We can celebrate what Southgate has achieved, respect Italy as a good side, but also believe we should have won from the position we were in. It's possible to think all 3.

Thought some of you might enjoy this thread on the Skyscrapercity forum about slum clearance in Brum in the 50s, including a fascinating BBC documentary form 1959 about Lee Bank, most of which has since been razed to the ground and replaced with posh flats. I think the planners had high ideals -- it's easy to get nostalgic about decrepit houses that would have cost a fortune to refurbish -- but sad to see so many old streets gone.

Who are the other 2 backers that TD has spoken about?
He mentioned 2 ex Prem players from the Birmingham area.

What a pathetic statement. Still no explanation of what the issue is. And the tickets aren’t going to arrive in the post in time so major problems at the ticket offices again. I am genuinely seriously considering asking for a full refund. And I’m not going on Friday either.
I know a few have had refunds for Bournemouth/Stoke but I haven’t yet. And has anybody had a refund where they were allocated a ticket but didn’t go because it didn’t turn up in time etc? Because I bet that won’t be easy to get back, or indeed impossible. Читать дальше...
