They’re not a working class club though. Never have been. Posh is gonna posh.
It's with much sadness I have to announce that DES passed away yesterday (1st December 2021) after a long illness.
He was a prolific poster on SHA having posted over 18000 times (Not counting all those removed by the Moderators for breaking some rule or other).
Rest in Peace mate, it was a pleasure to chat to you on here.
Also Bluessince, my Vile supporting cousin once told me Blues were some of the first skinheads on the terraces in the late 60's, bet DES was one of them.

You won't have heard of him but he was a Blues supporter all his life. Born 5 minutes from the ground he was Blue through and through.
Deryk died on Sunday following a long and hard fight against lung cancer. (Good old Park Drive)
He's being cremated on the 22nd and his last wishes were all mourners should wear something blue and join Harry Lauder singing KRO.
Deryk was 76 and a mate of mine for 66 years. We've witnessed some bad and occasionally better times down Stans but the Blues were always in his heart. Читать дальше...
God Bless him proper Blues !
Deeney’s been the HT on pitch guest at Vicarage Road tonight’s game, is that a bit bad taste?

He was there promoting his book,
I've been listening to the book on Audible. I don't think the person reading it is a football fan. Either that or everyone else is pronouncing lots of names wrong.Dad passed away today. He watched the Blues in the 50s and 60s. As was normal, he'd also pop down the Villa if there was a good game on. Took me to see Trevor play in 1972 age 8. He stopped going in the 80s as many did but got back into it through Sky Sports and we watched the cup win together and in his frail later years he would watch any game he could. So long Dad, it's a long, long road.
Sorry for your loss. RIP to your dad and hope you're hanging in there.
Receiving cpr and players taken off. Best of luck to him but it could have happened at much worse places. Thankfully he'd have received almost immediate care, giving him the best possible chance of recovery. Fingers crossed anyway
Watching Prince William playing with his scarf of MOTD last night made me sick
But it got me thinking that Blues should try and woo Prince Harry
He’d be a perfect fit with the Blues
Love to see him with a pint and singing f!#k the EFL
And Meghan could do a nice Brady-esque in kit photo shoot and calendar
It would also give them another £200 or so and 5 minutes on Central news
Win/win
Not sure if everyone clocked that banner yesterday but I thought it was brilliant.
I think this is exactly the kind of thing fans should do more of. We're quite happy spending money flying planes criticising owners or managers but it's this kind of social messaging we should be pushing. Great to see them united on this front.
stunning break and what a volley from Bernardo Silva
just re running it in my head with Hogan on the end of it like that
RIP
Fantastic what he achieved with Coventry.
0:2 after 20 mins . Everton “fans” walking out !
I'm working on a longer piece about the stadium including the Kop / Tilton issues for the blog.
However, based on posts on here yesterday, I wanted to get a vibe for how people feel about the ground. A lot of the posts resonated with things that I noticed on Saturday, but I wonder how much difference it really makes to going. I'm aware I'm getting old and crotchety, and I'm honest enough to wonder if I notice the little details more because I'm getting old and crotchety than it actually making a difference to the "experience". What a finish that was.
