Been called up to the senior Wales squad
He’s going to knock us out the World Cup isn’t he?

Saw him getting a little bit of stick after the Rotherham game, which I thought was very harsh. (Online, now at the game I should say).
I think because he played a fair bit last season, people forget just how young he is.
Probably do him well having a spell out the team at this stage of his career but he’ll get his chance again. Seems to have a great head on his shoulders and he’ll learn a lot from training with Wales even if he doesn’t play.

The Grenadier Guards we saw on parade today were obviously too young to have seen active duty, but many of the former soldiers within the unit definitely were.
I love seeing them resplendent in their red uniforms and their bearskins.
What I didn’t realise until it was mentioned during todays service, they are not required to toast the monarch because their devotion is not questioned - or something like that, I missed exactly what was said
I think it’s pretty poor, but I think the people putting another case here do too. If I felt that strongly that I had to boo, I think I wouldn’t bother going at all.
On the other hand, if I was asked to observe a minute’s silence for Prince Andrew….
Just to note, Sinn Fein (let alone those still who haven’t denounced armed struggle) have minutes silences for their martyrs. I presume BlueArmy regards the intervention of MI5 during these ceremonies as infringements of their human rights, which after all, are universal.
Only counting dreams you had up to the age of about 14 .. and did you achieve them ?
For me .. in age order (of dream)
Train driver - No
Bus driver - No
Pro footballer for Blues - No
Pop star - No
World renowned poet - No
Criminal Mastermind - No
Childhood dream was to join the Armed Forces, did 23 years, homage to every generation of my family that did the same including a 15 year old cousin that served in the Great War. Arguably preferable to the Welsh side of my family that suffered in the coal mines around Swansea

Can anyone tell me why Coventry fans call us YAM YAMS ???
The Happy Prince
The same reason people in the south of England call Brummies 'northern'.
Totally get what you’re both saying, but if Norwich and Watford and I’m adding Burnley and Sheffield United have a better midfield than us, then ours isn’t as good as anything in the league, which is what he said.
What has been spent assembling those midfields isn’t relevant to what was stated.
I think Coventry and Albion would be matching us too.
But, yes, the midfield looks hugely improved than it did a couple of months ago.

What a massive responsibility but also a massive honour for all the pallbearers
Absolutely brilliant job lads !!!
Main - Nope, never heard of it or them.
80s - knew it straight away, but wasted 2 skips before I had the courage of my convictions.
90s - ditto, but simply didn’t learn from the above. 2 skips.
Andrew Johnson
Good on you Kev. Stay safe.
Sat on The Mall. It’s a bit nippy, but wrapped up.

I saw him at The Odeon back in the day, mid-eighties probably - when he did the collaboration with Steve Howe. Incredible musicianship.
I could never quite penetrate the weirdness of Genesis in the Peter Gabriel era, but Hackett is an absolute maestro.
….That hardly gets mentioned?
I’ll start with Gary Mcsheffrey.
That promotion season under Bruce he was class. I remember being at Stans for the hat trick v Preston. Think we were both top 2 at the time. 2006/07 I think.
Good good player.
