Re: From Wheldon to the Current owners
All you can do is give them a chance.
All you can do is give them a chance.
We’ve never been well run in the years I’ve supported Blues. Always lurching from one mismanaged disaster to the next. I’m old enough to remember Francis being sold and my dad saying that swapping Kendall for Latchford was the worst mistake ever made by the club. Even during the Sullivan era it never felt professional and there was no real plan.
But with all that said my biggest fear from the takeover is that we’ll become as dull as shit. The Middlesbrough of the midlands. No wonder Mayor is retiring, there may be nothing to write about.
Always went for a beer at half time until the start of last season but by mid season I started going for one again purely for something to do. The speakers are shite, the star of the day is normally someone who doesn't want to be there and its basically a load of shit. The chip and win from a while back was also rubbish.
What do you think they should do at half time that's entertaining?
I also cant see a problem of drinking in your seat especially as its plastic cups that... Читать дальше...

I agree with all of you.
Eustace was a novice last season
he needs to learn from it and have courage in himself his ideas and his team.
The fact we were perfectly decent in many ways up to the World Cup break showed the best of him.
Much of what came after showed the worst.
He can do better than that and needs to show it.

They've got a decent little team now for that CONCACAF region.
Bailey - Bobby Reid - Gray as a three engine Antonio is pretty exciting and the rest of the team seems made up of MLS defenders. They've done really well to convince so many "English" players to travel all the way over there during the breaks.
Anyone stopping in Torrevieja for the pre season game ?
Thanks for saving me from clicking on a Mail link…
On the takeover, I’m stupid what does he mean?
“Seems above board. Slight concern about the terms. The club's being loaned the money at a hefty rate of interest. £50m turns into over £85m by the end of year five. Been told that's to protect the buyers if the Chinese play-up. I 'get' the explanation but...you know...”

Yes, but given they will own the club, what would the be underlying reason for placing a hefty interest rate on the loaning facility? For example, how does this compare to the loan facility with our current owners?
Diamonds can withstand enormous pressures. I imagine metals can too.
Images from the wreck lift seem to show wires etc. Any physicists that can explain to me the science of how the wires have not just disintegrated into nothing?
I can understand the walls of the sub not being fully destroyed as they were designed to withstand those pressures but surely the electronics inside the unit would just be normal wires? Unless the wires were on the outside of the sub and so had pressure equilibrium from the descent?
Pressure hurts my brain to try and comprehend.

They were always a well supported club, and now all of their away games are close by it’s no surprise they get some good away followings.
Worst thing they ever did was move out of St George’s Lane though.
