What do you want him to do? reckon he can play leftback?
Buy more overpriced baseball caps. Believe harder.
Just wanted to say how pleased I am with all his efforts so far. Without fail, he makes sure to share a story on instagram every single time we win. Never waivers this commitment. Always giving his time to help raise our profile.
Don't forget he's visited the ground and players over 0 times, which just enhances my view that he'll be a major influence in our success and isn't just a hollow appointment some would make you believe.
I can't wait to see how many insta followers their next appointments going to have. Читать дальше...

Are you supposed to tip the feckers?
Are you supposed to tip the feckers?
No. He will achieve what he needs to achieve, but it won’t happen overnight.
Young waiter impressed we have Wayne Rooney as our manager
Trust the plan
Most of us had gone home by then anyways
I’m not in the camp yet of a Rooney hater in any way shape or form. But I will say a coming over to the fans at the end of 90 mins today and on Saturday with an acknowledgment, would at least help.
Don’t smack the badge like that DVB ???????? it’s not needed, but it’s something to let us know that we are appreciated.
He wasn’t wrong about fitness. Myoshi and Burke were spent. Dembele playing within himself to
He played as the striker in both of those games
When Zola took over we actually played ok and we’re a little unfortunate not to get some results and then the players lost confidence and belief. In Rooneys first 2 games we have been awful and deserved to lose both games. Any criticism that the players aren’t fit enough to play this style and therefore it’s the fault of the previous manager is nonsense, they were fit enough to get us to 6 in the league. In addition this squad is substantially better than the one Zola had
cost Fulham 25mil not that long ago, good player
Many of those angry would have been just as angry if Eustace had lost the last two games which was quite possible.
It’s sad though that many more reasonable supporters are low because having seen a ray of sunshine they feel let down again.
Football is about results win tonight we are 6th and it’s different altogether.
Tonight was poor not as poor as the Cardiff game but poor.
The players as well as the manager need to fix it, I didn’t see a great deal of... Читать дальше...
A manager doing ok by playing to player’s strengths.
Replaced by a “ big name” with no real management success to point to. Who then expects players to change and adapt to his football philosophy while performances plummet. Key the resulting spiral down the table and fan discontent
The atmosphere tonight was awful
Lovely player.
Can't remember him having a single loose first touch.
Assured and calm.
Ran the show for them.
Best player on the pitch.
To me that was the biggest difference tonight
Except for the first five minutes in each half our press was half hearted, there was no snap. Consequently they played through it and Bielik was hopelessly outnumbered and they attacked at will. They basically by-passed half our team with ease and had the freedom of the park in behind
Their press was more effective, forcing us to play it around in front of them not through them. We hadn’t got an outlet in midfield and consequently made errors or hoofed it. Читать дальше...
Asked whether any players told him they are uncomfortable with the way he is asking them to play, Rooney said: “Yes. That’s my job now to deal with that and fix that. I have to come up with a way that they are comfortable with playing whilst trying to implement how I want to play.”

The two games have shown that currently the players cannot either a) play the system as they don't have the ability or b) don't understand what is being asked of them tactically.
Rooney needs to stop the rot so I am hoping that he's not a stubborn manager (like Bowyer) who will just continue with something thats not working. We have looked solid most of the season in 4-2-3-1, the players were settled in the formation and knew what they were doing. We were able to bring players in and out of the system without too much changing... Читать дальше...
Please have a serious, strong word with yourselves.
I understand the frustration at the sacking of Eustace when we were doing well, completely. I understand the frustration at watching the players trying to adapt a very different style of play. I don't necessarily agree with the decision to sack Eustace, the dreaded words from Garry Cook nor the drastic changes Rooney is trying to implement straight away.
But we are TWO GAMES into his reign. They've had less than one week with all his coaching staff. Читать дальше...
Well said Sir.
