Re: Lee Bowyer delivers his verdict on Amari Miller's Leeds move
El MayorIndefatigablemontypenguinSorry no good luck wishes from me. If he was so "thankful" to Blues why didn't he repay some of that loyalty.
Here's how I suspect his career will pan:
1) Cameo role in Carabao Cup for Leeds
2) Season long loan to Halifax Town
3) Released from Leeds and ends up playing semi-pro somewhere like Nuneaton.
Nothing develops a player more than first team football, and he's not going to get it at Leeds. Bad decision by the kid, no doubt fuelled by his agent's best interests rather than his.
If that makes me a mean-spirited so and so then that's fine with me. Pisses me off when this happens.
Exactly how I feel.
I would have thought he owed Blues a bit of loyalty.
His 5 first team appearances have gone to his head.
TBF the fact Blues waited until the last minute to offer him a deal maybe shows that loyalty is a two way thing?
Footballers have very short careers; most kids don't make it. He got four years from Leeds (which I v much doubt Blues would have offered), why not take it?
Some sense ????
