Building surveying course
After nearly 40 years on the tools I really want to change my direction for the last part of my working career.
There is jobs going at sandwell Council for clerk of the works, or whatever its called now.
Through a mate who works there he says I would need a HNC or similar in building surveying to be considered.
He couldn't point me in the right direction as he did it the old way of being on the tools and working up.
I have got my trade guilds and advanced guilds, and also a level 4 qualification in teaching and assessment from when I did some work in FE. But I have no other formal qualifications.
Anyone got any experience with this or show me the way to go in getting a suitable qualification. Thanks in advance.
