Re: New owner predictions
A new stadium would be lovely and people dont need to fret, it would take a good few years to come into fruition.
Man Lyk GroundRepairStability and vision for me.
It goes without saying there's a lot of work to be done to improve the infrastructure and off-field operations which is going to take time. The club is gonna need smart appointments in key management roles and the right level of investment to execute.
I hope there isn't a mass overhaul of staff too soon, staff should be given a chance to prove themselves and the new owners can then implement change gradually.
Short Term (1-3 years)
- Sign some young exciting players
- Smarten up existing facilities (Stadium and training ground)
- Rebuild the broken trust and relationships with supporters, businesses and local government
Medium/Long Term (3-5 years)
- Continued investment in squad
- Promotion back to the PL
Long Term (5-10 years)
- Build a new stadium & training ground at the Wheels site ala
Etihad Campus
- Capitalise on new facilities to diversify revenue streams. Wouldn't it be great if we hosted an international match in the future...
We can dare to dream can't we?!
