I regret to inform you that a Marine died during physical fitness training at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, April 15, 2020. The Marine collapsed while training and was rushed to the hospital. Immediate life saving measures were performed, but the Marine was pronounced dead this morning. I did not pass this during the Facebook Live session because the next of kin had not been notified. That notification has now occurred. On behalf of the command team, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Marine’s family, friends, and unit. The cause of death is currently under investigation.
