100 police agencies are backing out from sending officers to the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee
More than 100 police agencies are backing out from agreements to send officers to help bolster security at the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee next month, Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales told WTMJ-TV in this report
THE MILWAUKEE FIRE & POLICE COMMISSION, according to the report had informed Chief Morales that unless he obeyed directives issued that forbid the police to use tear gas and other prohibited means, would be released of his position.
Reports are that the convention will hold only a small number of attendees, up to 300 individuals as the meetings will be broadcast live.
