Joint Base San Antonio Lackland was under Lockdown with active shooter incident.
Earlier Today, the Army issued an Active Shooter warning for all JBSA-Lackland personnel.
“All base personnel implement LOCKDOWN procedures immediately and take cover.
“The following buildings within the cordon will remain in lockdown until further notice: B9310 and B9210. The Valley Hi Gate will remain closed until further notice. Open gates include Growden, Luke East and Security Hill. Luke West gate is open for outbound traffic. Lockdown is lifted for all other JBSA-Lackland personnel. All accountability actions will cease at this time.”
There are no suspected injuries at this time. The shooting is suspected to have happened outside Valley Hi Gate on JBSA-Lackland.
Within a few hours the base was all clear with no reported injuries
JBSA emergency responders were working with the SAPD to clear the area and search for the shooters.
