5-alarm fire at 78 Post Avenue in Manhattan On Wednesday Thanksgiving Eve. On Wednesday, November 24, #FDNY Firefighters operated on scene of a 5-alarm fire at 78 Post Avenue in Manhattan. During the operation, members found a car parked on a hydrant which resulted in a delay in providing water to extinguish the fire. Thankfully, there were no injuries.
