Today, Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced a partnership with California-based 5.11—the global innovator in tactical apparel and gear—to become the new apparel, gear and accessories outfitter of the racing organization. 5.11 will also serve as the official partner of the CGR pit crews and associated training facilities at the Concord, N.C. and Indianapolis-based race shops.

After returning to the track, a multi-car incident during NASCAR’s overtime severely damaged the AdvoCare Ford, preventing Bayne from taking the checkered flag and ultimately leading to a 21st-place finish.
After leading three laps and running in the top-10 for a majority of the first 50 laps in Sunday’s AAA 400 at the Monster Mile, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. blew two right front tires ultimately sending the Little Hug Fruit Barrel Ford to the garage resulting in a 39th-place finish.
