Tottenham have joined the race for Hull City winger Keane Lewis-Potter, according to The Times.
The 20-year-old academy graduate has just 18 months remaining on his current deal with the Tigers, but it has been claimed the club wants to keep him at the MKM Stadium (Hull Live).
The winger’s form this term has recently captured the attention of Brentford ahead of a potential move this month (90min), but Hull may only sanction a sale following the completion of their new takeover.
Lewis-Potter also impressed throughout Hull’s FA Cup third-round tie against Everton and gave a good account of himself despite his side’s defeat in extra-time.
As such, The Times now claim Tottenham are the latest side to show interest in Lewis-Potter, who has recorded five goals and four assists in the league.
The report reiterates Brentford’s interest, while the likes of Leicester, West Ham and Southampton are also keeping tabs on the youngster.
Spurs Web Opinion
Lewis-Potter is one of Hull’s brightest prospects and he will undoubtedly get better as he matures. Spurs do need players that are ready to come in now, though, so this wouldn’t exactly be a transfer of priority, but it could be one to look out for.
