According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, rumoured Tottenham target Georginio Wijnaldum does not wish to leave Paris Saint-Germain this month.
PSG have emerged as contenders to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Spurs, with the Ligue 1 club thought to be in talks with Spurs over a loan move for the 25-year-old (Guardian).
According to GFFN, Mauricio Pochettino’s men have agreed to cover the entirety of the French international’s wages during his loan spell in Paris but Daniel Levy is yet to sign off on the deal as the Spurs chairman is trying for ‘something permanent’.
The Daily Mail reported on Sunday that Wijnaldum, who joined PSG on a free transfer in the summer, could be offered to Spurs as part of the deal to take Ndombele to the Parc des Princes.
However, this was subsequently refuted by Fabrizio Romano who revealed that the former Liverpool man is not part of the negotiations between Spurs and PSG.
Romano’s claim has now been backed up by Plettenberg, who took to social media to reveal that Wijnaldum is not part of the talks between the clubs as the Netherlands international wishes to stay at PSG at least until the summer.

If Wijnaldum is not joining Spurs as reported above and Franck Kessie also wishes to stay at Milan until the summer (CalcioMeracto), then Spurs might be in a spot of bother.
One would think that the North London club would not let all three of Dele, Ndombele and Lo Celso leave if they are not able to bring a midfielder in.
