Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Everton may have to pay significant bonuses to Tottenham for Dele Alli, depending on his performances for the club.
Alli is set to leave Tottenham after six-and-a-half years after reportedly agreeing to sign a permanent deal with the Toffees (Sky Sports).
A move would see the 25-year-old midfielder become one of Frank Lampard’s first signings as Everton manager, after the Chelsea icon was unveiled as the club’s new face in the dugout on Monday.
Everton are expected to pay a £10 million fee once Alli reaches 20 appearances (The Guardian), but Romano has added that substantial bonuses could also be paid down the line.
The transfer expert states the total for the transfer could reach between €35-€40 million (£29-£33.3m), with potential add-ons relating to Everton and Alli’s performances.
Alli has made 10 Premier League appearances this season, scoring just once (Transfermarkt). Everton meanwhile, are vowing to end a long spell of poor league form which has left them lingering down in 16th.

Spurs Web Opinion
This is a big move for Spurs who are getting Alli, a player who wasn’t providing much, off the wage bill. The fee received currently is pretty minimal, but there is potential to recover a larger amount down the line which could be a plus.
