Tottenham have not changed their stance on the valuation of Harry Kane, according to journalist Dean Jones.
The England captain was the subject of strong transfer speculation last summer, although a move to Man City failed to materialise (Sky Sports).
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano revealed Spurs chairman Daniel Levy turned down a bid from Pep Guardiola’s side said to be worth around £125m.
Kane’s stay in North London brought with it some early challenges for the player, as he struggled to hit form at the start of the season under Nuno Espirito Santo.
But since the appointment of Antonio Conte, the 28-year-old has quickly got back to his best, both as Tottenham’s target man and chief creator.
Should interest in Kane elevate again this summer, Jones does not believe the club’s valuation of their star man will have changed at all.
He told GiveMeSport: “Tottenham don’t believe that his value has dropped at all. It doesn’t really matter too much about his contract situation.
“To them, they feel that Kane, if anything, is a better player now than he was a year ago. So in their eyes, same valuation as a year ago, well upwards of £100m.”

Kane is worth more to Spurs than to the clubs interested in signing him, so it is obvious that they are being strict with their valuation.
His performances of late have backed that up too which will of course draw attention to him again, but Spurs are likely going to fight as hard as they did last year to keep him on board.
