According to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, Djed Spence has agreed on personal terms with Spurs ahead of a move from to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham have completed their fourth signing of the window in the form of Ricahrlison for a fee of around £60m including add-ons (Guardian).
It also emerged yesterday that Spurs were in ‘advanced talks’ to make Spence their fifth signing of the summer, with Lyall Thomas revealing that an agreement between Tottenham and Middlesbrough for the right-back was getting ‘closer and closer’
Crook has now explained that although Spurs and Boro are yet to finalise a deal for the 21-year-old, he expects the deal to be struck sooner rather than later.
He told GiveMeSport about Tottenham’s pursuit of Spence: “Djed Spence has already agreed on personal terms with Tottenham, it’s just a case of the two clubs coming together.”
