Tottenham head into the break against Erik ten Hag’s side currently level at 0-0 despite United having dominated proceedings.
Hugo Lloris: Only just managed to get Fred’s shot to safety, another nervy moment. Saved well from Rashford and equally from Fernandes’ free-kick and Shaw’s volley. 7.
Matt Doherty: Was the recipient of a brilliant cross-field pass from Hary Kane, but could not find the target. 6.
Cristian Romero: Has not been able to get forward with United dominating. 6.
Eric Dier: Lost the track of Rashford’s run which saw the striker’s shot batted away by Lloris. Took a painful ball to the face to block a shot. 6.
Ben Davies: Had a couple of overlap opportunities ahead of Perisic, but like his team-mates has been pinned in his own half. 6.
Ivan Perisic: Has gotten forward on a few occasions, but will be disappointed with his final ball/decision-making. 5.
Rodrigo Bentancur: Fizzed a shot wide of De Gea’s post after neat build-up play, has roamed further forward on occasion with Bissouma sitting in the middle but needs to do better in possession. 5.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg: Operating on the left of the midfield trio, a couple of nice touches but rather than the creator in recent weeks has been occupied with defensive duties. Sloppy on the ball on a couple of occasions. 5.
Yves Bissouma: Recalled to the starting eleven in place of the injured Richarlison, has looked nervous on the ball. 5.
Heung-min Son: Had his first glimpse of goal on 32 minutes and could only watch as his shot sailed high and wide. 6.
Harry Kane: Has once again shown his brilliant range of passing, his shot just before half time was straight at De Gea. 6.
