Phil Foden has said that Harry Kane is the best finisher he has seen and admitted that he was in awe of the England captain’s shooting ability when he was first called up to the Three Lions squad.
Although Kane is yet to open his account in the World Cup, the striker has put in two decent displays, picking up two assists in the Three Lions’ 6-2 demolition of Iran on Monday.

Gareth Southgate will be hoping that the striker finds his goalscoring boots in the game against Wales, with the Three Lions being heavily reliant on the 29-year-old to get them the goals.
Kane took home the Golden Boot in the last World Cup in Russia but he now has some catching up to do if he is to secure the award again in Qatar, with Ferran Torres, Cody Gakpo, Olivier Giroud and his Tottenham teammate Richarlison, currently leading the pack with two each.
However, Foden does not have any concerns that the Spurs star will take chances if they come his way, describing the striker as the best finisher he has seen, which is some compliment considering he plays alongside Erling Haaland at Manchester City.
Foden told SportBible about his first call-up to the England squad: “Seeing some of the players that I played against and seeing them in training, the quality was unbelievable. I just felt lucky to be part of it, such a special team. What we created at the Euros and how together we were, it was good to see.
“Harry Kane’s finishing is the best I’ve ever seen. So to see him up close in front of goal in training, with both feet as well. Unbelievable. He makes it look so easy. Sometimes he doesn’t even put power through it, it’s just placement.”

Haaland is perhaps a better goal-poacher than Kane as the Norwegian is always at the right place and at the right time and scoring goals seem to only thing on his mind.
However, in terms of pure finishing (ie ball striking), Kane is better than Haaland. In fact, one can make the case that Son is also a better finisher with either foot than the Norwegian striker is.
