According to Voetbal International, Arne Slot has a ‘good chance’ of being appointed as Tottenham’s next head coach.
Slot is undoubtedly the most sought-after manager from the Eredivisie, having completely transformed the Feyenoord side since taking over last summer, with the club now edging closer to a historic title win.
Multiple outlets have reported over the last few weeks that the Dutch coach is on Tottenham’s shortlist to replace Antonio Conte (The Times).
The latest such update came from The Daily Express, who stated on April 7 that while Slot is not Spurs’ number one target, he remains a ‘firm outside contender’ for the job.
The report explained that the Feyenoord boss has several admirers in the Spurs boardroom, owing to the eye-catching brand of possession-based football that he has adopted at De Kuip.
Voetbal International have now gone a step further and asserted that Slot has a ‘good chance’ of replacing Conte in the Spurs hot seat.
The report suggests that the North London club have already explored a move for the 44-year-old and their interest could become more concrete as we get closer to the end of the season.

The fact that there have not been any concrete movements by either Spurs or Chelsea on the managerial front, suggests that both clubs are determined to do all they can to get Nagelsmann and are prepared to wait until the summer to see if the German would be open to the respective roles.
