The Evening Standard’s Dan Kilpatrick has revealed that only Tottenham’s set-piece coach, Gianni Vio, is still at the club among Antonio Conte’s coaching staff, with the rest following Cristian Stellini out of the door this week.
After Tottenham parted ways with Conte last month, the managerial reins were handed to Cristian Stellini for the remainder of the campagn, with Ryan Mason as his assistant.
It was reported at the time that only Conte’s brother, Gianluca, who was working as an analyst at Tottenham, left along with the 53-year-old while Vio, along with goalkeeping coach Marco Savorani and fitness coaches Stefano Bruno and Costantino Coratti, remained at N17 (Matt Law).
However, the Stellini experiment did not work and the 48-year-old was asked to pack his bags on Monday following Tottenham’s 6-1 drubbing at the hands of Newcastle United, with Mason put in charge until the end of the season for the final six matches.
Kilpatrick has now taken to social media to reveal that Vio has remained at the club while the rest of Mason’s temporay coaching staff is yet to be finalised.
Spurs are back in action on Thursday evening when Manchester United are the visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
#thfc Ryan Mason to take Spurs training for the first time today, although the exact make up of his coaching staff is still being finalised. Gianni Vio, the set piece coach, is the only member of Conte/Stellini staff to stay on. @standardsport

I would expect the academy coaches to fill in for the time being and help Mason out with first-team duties. The likes of Yaya Toure, Jermain Defoe and potentially even, Ledley King, might be asked to assist the 31-year-old until the end of the season while Chris Powell can provide plenty of experience.
