Alasdair Gold has revealed that the travelling Spurs fans at Villa Park were chanting for Daniel Levy to leave constantly throughout the clash on Saturday.
The Tottenham fan base has grown increasingly angered over recent weeks, not just because of the poor results on the pitch but also because of the developments off it.

Mauricio Pochettino has now reportedly agreed on a deal to take over at Chelsea (Sky Sports), with Spurs allegedly not even reaching out to the Argentine regarding the vacancy, much to the 51-year-old’s disappointment (talkSPORT).
To make matters worse, Tottenham have now reportedly pulled out of the race for Julian Nagelsmann, with the club alleged to have communicated that the German is not the right fit for their project (Evening Standard).
The tensions understandably boiled over at Villa Park on Saturday as the Lilywhites fell to another loss, which severely dented their chances of qualifying for Europe next season.
Gold has revealed in his latest column for Football.London that the away section had started chanting against Levy just 15 seconds after kick-off.
The journalist revealed that chants of ‘We want Levy out’ and ‘Daniel Levy get out of our club’ were heard constantly, even drowning out the noise made by the home support.
Similar chants were allegedly heard as soon as the second half began and continued on till the end of the game.
While Gold did reveal that Levy was not in attendance at Villa Park, one would think that the Tottenham chairman is unlikely to have missed what was seemingly the most vociferous expression of discontent from the fan base to date.

As someone who has tended to defend Levy through the years, having felt that some of the criticism levelled at him is unfair, even I completely understand why the fan base is angered by the Spurs chairman, whose decisions have been reactive rather than proactive over the past few months.
However, realistically speaking, Levy and ENIC are certainly not going to sell the club until there is an offer which they deem suitable and I do not think a few chants are going to change the situation.
The club’s hierarchy is faced with some huge decisions in the summer and they simply cannot afford to get them wrong.
