According to TEAMtalk, rumoured Tottenham target Tyler Adams has told Leeds United that he wants to continue playing in the Premier League next season.
Adams joined Leeds in a £20m deal from RB Leipzig last summer and he hit the ground running in the Premier League but his campaign was cut short prematurely as he sustained an injury in March which saw him miss the final 12 games of the campaign.
Two weeks ago, we relayed a report from 90 min, which claimed that Tottenham were one of several top-flight clubs who were considering a move for the 24-year-old following Leeds’ relegation.
Tyler Adams wants Leeds exit amid Spurs links
According to TEAMtalk’s latest update, Adams has now informed the Elland Road hierarchy that he wants to remain in the Premier League and that he knows a host of clubs are interested in signing him.
The outlet does not make any mention of Spurs but claims that Newcastle and Man Utd are both keen on landing the USA international while Liverpool have also checked on his availability.
Spurs Web Opinion
Adams strikes me as a Postecoglou kind of player as the Australian enjoys working with young talent and moulding them into specific roles.
I would much prefer to see Spurs go after the Leeds star than James Ward-Prowse as the 24-year-old has a much higher ceiling.
