Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is set to see interest in his services intensify with Inter Milan ready to make a move for the World Cup winner, according to L’Equipe.
The 36-year-old last month admitted that he is ready to leave Tottenham to seek a new challenge after 11 years and more than 400 appearances for the club.
He told Nice-Matin: “We have reached an important moment, whether it be for the club or me. It’s the end of an era.
“I have a desire for something else. I will carefully study what is possible. However, I haven’t forgotten that I have a year left on my contract at Tottenham, and in football, it’s always hard to predict what will happen.”
Inter Milan set to make offer for Hugo Lloris
Lloris has also been the subject of interest from Saudi Arabia with the Spurs stopper having been offered a big-money deal to join the exodus of players to the Middle East which would have trebled his £100,000-a-week wages (The Times).
The report claims that Inter are planning to submit a concrete proposal in the coming days to aid their aim of bringing Lloris to the San Siro ahead of the upcoming season.
The Serie A giants are in the market for a new number one with Andre Onana said to be nearing a move to Manchester United with the former Ajax man keen on the switch to Old Trafford (The Guardian).
Lloris retired from international duty with France in January, one year after signing a contract extension that would keep him at Spurs through to the end of next season

With Tottenham having already moved to bring in Guglielmo Vicario as the club’s new number one, it is only a matter of time before Lloris gets his wish and heads out of the door in N17.
A move to Inter Milan would certainly be more fitting for the French international rather than a move to Saudi Arabia or even a return to his former club Nice.
Given the service which Lloris has given the club, it would not be surprising if they ripped up the last year of his contract to allow him to head off into the sunset and is certainly deserving of a future testimonial.
