The Daily Mail have revealed that Thomas Tuchel has alleviated the concerns of Harry Kane about relocating his family to Germany, with the Bayern Munich boss said to have promised a smooth transition to life in the country.
Bayern are seemingly not prepared to give up on their pursuit of Kane, with the Bavarians alleged to have submitted a second offer worth €80m (£68.5m) plus add-ons for the striker (Florian Plettenberg).
However, Fabrizio Romano stated on CaughtOffside that the bid is likely to be turned down by the North London club, who are hoping to keep hold of the striker.
The journalist explained that while the 29-year-old is keen on making the move to the Allianz Arena, the transfer would depend on Daniel Levy, who would not be persuaded to sell at the aforementioned price.
Thomas Tuchel has been convincing Harry Kane
The Mail too have now backed up Romano’s claim, suggesting that it is going to take a much higher bid than €80m (£68.5m) to convince Spurs to sell their talisman.
They also explain that Kane is in favour of making the switch, having been convinced by Tuchel that the move would the right one for him.
The former Chelsea boss allegedly assured the striker and his wife, Katie, that they along with their three children would be integrated into the wider Bayern community and would be afforded all the support they need regarding schools, houses and the language.
Tuchel is said to have convinced Kane that he and his family can make a smooth transition to life in Munich.
Spurs Web Opinion
It is quite clear that Kane wants to make the move to Bayern but the question is how hard he is willing to push for it.
There is no indication at the moment that the striker is willing to go on strike or even put in a transfer request, which is not surprising, given that he only has a year left on his contract.
