Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Bayern Munich have now submitted an offer of €100m (£86.2m) for Harry Kane.
The Bayern hierarchy have already held multiple meetings with Tottenham regarding Kane this summer, the latest of which happened on Monday, with reports indicating that there was still a difference of around £25m in the valuation of the two parties after those talks (David Ornstein).
It was suggested a couple of days ago that despite not being able to meet Spurs’ valuation, the German club remain optimistic about the deal and are expected to soon ‘go close to a €100m package’ (Fabrizio Romano).

If Plettenberg’s latest update is to be believed, the Bundesliga side have now indeed tabled an offer of €100m (£86.2m) including add-ons and are now expecting a response from Tottenham within hours.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports News have also reported on such an offer by Bayern and they assert that this will be the final bid by the Bavarian club for Kane.

Spurs Web Opinion
My suspicion is that even if this offer is turned down by Levy (which it is likely to be), Bayern will still try one more time for the striker, given that there is a whole month left in the transfer window. This ultimatum by the German club is probably just a negotiating tactic.
