Tottenham’s Under-21s made it nine wins from nine this season after Jude Soonsup-Bell’s late strike gave them a 2-1 win away at Bristol City in the Premier League Cup on Monday night.
The Spurs youngsters suffered an early setback as the hosts took the lead on 13 minutes after Ephraim Yeboah got on the end of a cross at the back post to knock it home.
It did not take Tottenham too long to equalise as Dante Cassanova’s low cross was deflected back to Max McKnight, who lashed home just before the half-hour mark.
The future of Tottenham looks very bright
However, a winner proved elusive in what was a cagey second half as the Spurs youngsters kept plugging away.
They eventually got their reward in the 96th minute as Yago Santiago was tripped in the box, with Soonsup-Bell stepping up to convert from 12 yards.
The result means that the Under-21s made it two wins out of two in the group and nine out of nine in all competitions so far this season.

The manner of this win showed the belief and the confidence that the youngsters currently have as Wayne Burnett did not give up until the final whistle and continued pushing.
