Football Transfers have claimed that Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are all keeping an eye on Ansu Fati ahead of a potential move next summer.
Fati was linked with a move to Spurs towards the end of the summer transfer window (Sky Sports) but the winger ultimately ended up joining Brighton on a season-long loan deal.
It was reported by Sport at the start of this month that Tottenham are on ‘red alert’ after they learned that Barcelona would be open to selling the winger permanently next summer.
The same publication reported a couple of days ago that the 21-year-old’s plan is to return to his boyhood club next summer and prove his worth at Camp Nou.
However, the publication explained that the Barca hierarchy might decide to cash in on the attacker if they receive an offer of €30m (£26.2m) at the end of the season.
Growing interest in Spurs-linked Ansu Fati
Football Transfers have now backed up Sport’s claim by stating that Fati’s goal remains to establish himself as a regular in the Barca starting eleven.
However, the report adds that interest from the Premier League is growing in the Spain international, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Man Utd said to be circling over the player.
It is alleged that the Reds could turn to the La Masia graduate to replace Mohamed Salah, who could be on his way to the Saudi Pro League next summer.
Spurs Web Opinion
If Barca do decide to put Fati up for sale, there is no doubt that a whole host of clubs from across Europe would be interested in his services.
The youngster has shown glimpses of his quality for Brighton without settling the world alight but he certainly has the talent to explode into life over the coming months.
