The Sun reporter Tom Barclay has revealed that rumoured Tottenham target Tosin Adarabioyo has informed Fulham that he plans to leave the club as a free agent next summer.
Adarabioyo has showcased his quality over the last few weeks since returning from his injury lay-off, with various publications revealing that Tottenham are continuing to eye the centre-back after failing to secure his services last summer (Football.London).
The 26-year-old has just six months to run on his deal at Craven Cottage, and it was reported by The Telegraph earlier this week that Fulham are bracing themselves for approaches for the player.
Contract talks fail between Fulham and Adarabioyo
Barclay has now taken to social media to reveal that Fulham’s efforts to tie down Adarabioyo to a new deal have failed, with the player not willing to put pen to paper on a contract.
However, the journalist also offered a blow to Tottenham’s hopes of landing him in January by stating that the defender only wants to leave the West London club as a free agent next summer.
Barclay claimed that Marco Silva’s men expect Adarabioyo to still be at the club by the end of next month’s transfer window.

Spurs Web Opinion
One would think that Fulham would be tempted to cash in on Adarabioyo if they receive a reasonable offer for him next month.
However, the 26-year-old did not seem particularly keen on joining Spurs last summer (perhaps due to fears over lack of game time) and his stance on the matter is unlikely to have changed.
