According to HITC, Tottenham Hotspur are one of several Premier League sides plotting a move for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot in the summer.
Rabiot’s current deal at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June and the prospect of signing him on a free transfer has allegedly alerted a whole host of Premier League clubs, including Spurs.
It is revealed that Ange Postecoglou’s men have been joined in the race for the Frenchman’s signature by Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Manchester United.
The report further suggests that Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle have already spoken to Rabiot’s representatives over recent months and are being kept informed about the player’s situation.

In addition, it is revealed that Bayern Munich have also held talks with the former Paris Saint-Germain star’s camp about a switch to Bavaria next summer.
However, the publication adds that the Bianconeri remain keen on keeping the 28-year-old at the club and are working hard to convince the midfielder to sign a new deal in Turin.
Spurs Web Opinion
While Rabiot has the technical qualities to fit in well into Postecoglou’s system, the Frenchman’s attitude might put off the Spurs head coach.
We know that the Australian is very particular about the kind of personalities he wants to add to the Spurs dressing room and I am not sure if the Juve star would be a great fit for the culture he is trying to build at Hotspur Way.
