Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be boosted by the return of Manor Solomon to training this week.
Solomon has not kicked a ball since injuring his meniscus at the start of October, with the winger suffering a setback during his recovery process last month.
A few days ago, The Standard suggested that the 24-year-old is now edging closer to full fitness and that he could target the clash against Aston Villa on March 10 for his return.
Manor Solomon is set to return to training this week
However, Gold has now revealed that Solomon is set to join his Spurs teammates in training within a matter of days.
The journalist explained that should the Israel international come through the next week unscathed, he would be in contention to feature against Crystal Palace next Saturday.
However, Gold pointed out that since Ange Postecoglou is not short of options in the wide areas, he might give Solomon more time to fully recover rather than rushing him back.
Spurs Web Opinion
I believe Solomon’s return will prove much more significant than many Tottenham fans think. He is arguably the most proficient in beating his man in one-on-one situations among all the wide players at the club and the former Shakhtar man could thus add a different dimension to our attack.
